Many of you know that I have been having a lot of trouble with my left knee and am waiting to see a specialist. The doctors secretary said it could take as long as two years to get in to see the specialist. Since it is such a long wait doctors like to try to work out pain management options with their patients. I am not a person who likes to take a lot of drugs, so one option that was suggested to me by my physical therapist was to invest in a TENS machine. A couple of days ago I got my new "toy" and I am quite excited about using it and seeing what kind of results I get from it. If there is anyone out there that also uses a TENS machine I would love to hear how yours is working for you, how often you use it, what settings work best etc.
