We have always wanted to try making some Chinese dishes so we planned on doing it sometime during the break while Ruth and Zachary were home. Well, Ruth is soon going back and Zachary has been in and out but was home yesterday. Therefore, we put our plan into action for supper last night. We picked four dishes : Mongolian Beef, Sweet and Sour Pork, Chop Suey, and Chicken Fried Rice. I also got a recipe off the Internet for fortune cookies but I didn't have enough time to make them. (I do want to try them out some time as I LOVE eating them and I was looking forward to making up my own love little notes to go into the cookies.) Vern, Ruth, and I worked together on the dishes. (Thankfully the boys worked on cleaning up all the dishes after supper.) We were quite happy with how everything turned out. I know we will definitely be making these dishes again.
