Well, this seems like it has been a long time in coming since I injured my hand August 1st. On Friday morning I had surgery to repair the injury to my thumb and hand. The doctor was unable to repair my hand back to normal since there was too much damage. Therefore, the doctor fused the bones together and put a small metal plate in. I have a cast on for two weeks. I will then get the stitches out and possibly get another cast on. I would appreciate your prayers for me as I recover. I am already finding it challenging to have only one hand to do things.
