Yesterday we woke up before the crack of dawn to begin out journey to B.C. to see Vern's parents. Oh, how we wish there weren't so many miles between us. There were a few pleasant surprised along the way. Airlines now charge you to pick out your seat ahead of time. We didn't feel like we wanted to spend an extra $150 round trip just to pick our seats. So we figured we would take whatever seat they gave us. Well, not only were our seats together but we were seated in the exit row and had all sorts of extra room. Since it is a five hour flight the extra leg room was wonderful. One of our flights was on a turbo prop plane and it sure brought back a lot of memories of many of our flights in Venezuela on turbo prop planes. Everything went very well with our flights and connections and we arrived into the arms of Vern's parents and his sister. On Sunday Vern's brother from Australia will be flying in so we will be able to spend a few days with him before we head home. We are looking forward to making some great memories with family and friends.
