Settling In

On Saturday at supper time everyone was moved up to jungle camp. Our coworkers did an amazing job of providing us a wonderful supper meal for us. It was so nice to have that first meal in the bush provided. I spent the evening unpacking and getting us settled in. For those of you who won't be making it to our jungle camp open house I thought I would give you a few shots of the inside of our house. The first night of sleeping in the bush it was REALLY cold and we didn't sleep very well. Last night was warmer and we were more used to all the bush noises, so we slept really good. Cuddles is loving jungle camp and loves to sit and look out the window. Any chance she gets she bolts out the door to chase a chipmunk.

  2. Hey, Holly, I was just thinking about how you said the moving up there and everything reminded you of being in the tribe. I was thinking how fun it would be to have someone dress up as an indian and just have them wander into jungle camp and talk to people in Spanish or whatever language. That's the way it would be in the tribe, you go in, build a house, and the indians come around curious as to who you are and what you are doing there. :)Just a random idea I thought I would share. It's good to see you guys are having a great time! Shanelle
