Yesterday was an amazing day. We headed out the door at 6:00 a.m. to meet Zachary, Ruth, and Alyssa in Flint. There was a surprise element to the day as Zachary knew nothing about seeing us; or I should say, Zachary knew nothing about being able to see Emily who made the trip with us. (This was Emily's first time visiting the U.S.) Zachary thought Ruth had gotten tickets to a concert. He thought they were stopping in at this Starbucks to meet some other friends. However, when they walked in the door we were waiting there. It was so much fun to be with Ruth, Zachary, & Alyssa. It was especially neat that Zachary knew nothing about the surprise and was totally shocked to see us all there. The day went by too fast. Now the count down is on until they come home for Thanksgiving.
