Scratch Week Cooking Demonstrations

Today we staff ladies started our scratch cooking classes. This year the class is divided up into two different groups. The groups will be rotating to which house they go to each day. The class I did today was on different types of dough. I started off with having some home made doughnuts for everyone to try. We then went on to pizza dough and made two pizzas with that. Then we worked with a dinner roll recipe that we made cinnamon buns with, cheese and bacon filled buns, and then cloverleaf rolls. I then had some bread dough that we worked with. After that the groups worked on making their own pizza dough or English Muffin loaves to bring home. It was a fun morning and as you can see there was plenty of food for everyone to sample.
