This morning when our students arrived to work on their jungle camp houses they found out that a raccoon had broken into many of the houses. Most of the houses do not have doors up yet so there was a nice clear path for any wild animal to walk into any of the houses. However, the raccoon had more fun ripping through the plastic walls of five of the eight houses being built up in the bush. So it looks like it is going to be another challenging year for us to figure out how to keep raccoons out of our houses and out of our food.
