Last night Vern, Titus, Kristina, Auroralyn and I went to a big turkey dinner which was a fund raiser for the local high school. Our interest in this event is that Emily plays the trombone in the high school band. The band and the art department are taking a school trip to Europe during their spring break. The band will have several concerts while they are over in Europe. We enjoyed hearing the jazz band play last night while we ate dinner. It was pretty cool to see how a lot of the local grocery stores and businesses helped out in donating all the food for the event. There were going to be between 400-500 people coming to eat. (On a side note, our grand daughter looked so adorable last night.)
