FAFSA

If you have had a child in university in the States then you are well aware what FAFSA is. For those of you who don't know what FAFSA is, it is the U.S. Department of Education Federal Student Aid. Every state has its own deadline as to when this form has to be filled out. For Michigan it is March first. Therefore, for the past couple of weeks I have been working on getting different receipts and statements together for us as well as Ruth and Zachary so that we could fill out this paper work. Unfortunately we are still missing some of the needed documentation since it hasn't come in the mail. It is a blessing that the kids can work both in the States and in Canada but it does make for more paperwork. However, even though there are a lot of headaches involved in all the paper work Ruth was able to get some much needed aid last year. We are hoping for a good outcome again this year although we won't know anything until June.
