Indecisiveness

This is not a deep dark secret that I am revealing to you. As those of you who know me, know that there are times I have trouble with indecisiveness. For instance, if I am at a restaurant I have a hard time ordering as everything looks so good. It is usually the last minute I make up my mind, there are just too many choices. One time when I was getting new glasses I actually had to leave and go back another day as I just couldn't make up my mind. Well this morning that indecisiveness emerged again. I needed to bring a snack this morning to a ladies meeting for 12 ladies. I do a lot of baking and usually have a couple of things every week I am baking something for. However, I wanted to try something new. I knew as soon as I started down that path it would be trouble. I spent some time going through cook books and looking at recipes on line and I had my plan of attack in the morning. I started off making a peanut butter loaf which is amazing. However, since not everyone is a fan of peanut butter I wanted to have another option. So then I got things going for cinnamon raisin bread. Then I got thinking that not everyone likes raisins. Therefore I started on my third option which was a pound cake. I am glad that I started all this at 6:30 a.m. this morning or there would not have been time for such indecisiveness. The only blessing with all this indecisiveness today is that I had more then enough and was able to pass on the extra baking to three different people. I am getting kind of old so I don't know if I will ever grow out of this. I am so glad for the Lord's direction in my life that all major decisions are not usually a problem. However, I am just warning you now, if you go out to eat with me, be prepared that I will take some time pondering my order, and don't be surprised in the end if I order the same thing as you. (smile)
