The Best Deal in Town

I am a person that is always looking for a good deal and hates to buy anything unless it is on sale. With Alyssa coming to visit we needed an extra bed. Unfortunately I had waited until the last minute to run out and look at what kind of air mattresses were available. I knew I wanted to get one of those air mattresses that was like a double bubble. I wanted a twin one so it would not take up so much space. Well, as I was looking around, the air mattresses for the type I wanted were a bit pricey. I was at the third store and low and behold I find this air mattress with a built in electric pump marked down to $10. It was a queen size, so it was bigger then I wanted but it was the exact type and with the electric pump which would save me a hour of blowing. When it seems like too good of a deal, I do start to get worried. I found a clerk to ask her why it was marked down from $50 to $10 and she figured someone had brought it back. (HUGE SIGH on my part as I figured it had a hole in it.) However, when we opened it, everything looked like it had never been taken out of the box. The clerk assured me that if there was anything wrong with it, I could take it back. In the back of my mind I totally thought we would be taking it back after we found it leaked all night. However, it worked awesome! Ruth said it was more comfortable then her bed so I feel like I just got "The Best Deal in Town" and we now have a new guest bed. (smile)
