For the past couple of weeks Vern has been teaching a parenting class. Although we only have one child now that is not an adult we are just as dependent on the Lord as we were when we had a houseful. We also have come to realize that parenting does not end when your children turn 18. It has been so good to be challenged again as to what are God's principles in raising a family. The world will give us their advice and will try to influence that there are better ways yet we know God's ways are higher then our ways. Where ever you are in your parenting journey may you draw close to God and look to Him for wisdom in raising your dear children. Hang in there! May we draw close to the Lord and as we walk this parenting journey together lets pray and encourage each other to keep seeking the Lord's wisdom and raise our children by using Biblical principles. And as we do that, let's remember to be your child's biggest cheerleader in life.
