Yesterday and today Ruth was in the classroom all day taking a St. John Ambulance First Aid with CPR for Health Care Providers. This is something she needed to take this summer in order to be ready for her hospital clinical rotations. So it ended up being quite a full week for Ruth with taking all her finals, moving home, and then being in the classroom all weekend. But it is nice for her to have one more thing checked off of her list of things that need to be done before she returns after her summer break. Today they practiced all sorts of scenarios and the instructor was really wanting them to practice taking control of a situation. I think she is going to have dreams of emergencies situations where she is yelling out "I am trained in CPR, can I help you?"
