Party at the Dyck House

Well anyone who knows me, knows we just had to celebrate all of Ruth's hard work in getting into the nursing program by throwing her a party. I was trying to go with a medical theme so instead of streamers I used rolls of gauze, instead of balloons I blew up surgical gloves, and I also hung up medical masks, band-aids, and cotton balls. Kris did an awesome job on making and decorating a cake. Brenda did a great job in making a nurses hat for Ruth. It was such a joy to be able to take the afternoon and honor Ruth and her accomplishment. There will be many, many long hours of studying ahead of her. This is just one more step in her journey but we are going to be here cheering her on, praying for her, and supporting her in anyway we can. Keep plugging away Ruth!
