A couple of weeks ago we had scratch cooking demonstrations. Last week our students cooked all their meals from scratch and worked in the kitchen without their electrical appliances. At the end of the week we all got together and had a pot luck with everything being made from scratch. All the dishes were delicious and the desserts were REALLY, REALLY tasty! I would say the scratch week of cooking was a success.
