I was back at the "Hand and Upper Limb Clinic" in London. It ended up being an all day affair as it is two hours away and I was there for 3 1/2 hours. The old cast was taken off and my stitches were taken out. I had x-rays taken. It was pretty cool to see the x-rays. You could clearly see the metal plate that is screwed into my thumb. Another cast was put on to give the bones more time to grow together. So it will be another four weeks of downtime for me as I wait for my hand to heal. I would appreciate your prayers that everything heals well. It does ache quite a bit so I am hoping that will also start settling down.

Yes, I was able to pick the color. There were actually about 12 colors to choose from. I went in thinking "hot pink", but I fell in love with the purple! :)
