Yesterday a tornado came through Durham. It was a close call here as it did some damage to the academy where Titus goes to school. The roof got blown off and there is damage to the inside and out. There were all sorts of trees down here on the campus and we were without power for about 22 hours. If the tornado had turned just a little bit it would have hit all sorts of houses here. There were several buildings in town that are destroyed. Out at the conservation area there was a fatality. An eleven year old boy died. Please pray for this family that is now grieving the loss of their dear son.
