Back Into the Swing of Things

In the last couple of weeks the number of people on our campus has increased greatly as all our students arrived and have settled in. Last week classes started up. Once again we have a great group of students who love the Lord and want to be used of Him overseas in foreign missions. Last night we had a big pot luck to connect with each other. It was nice to connect with some of our new students and to hear how the Lord worked in their lives to bring them here. It was also neat to hear everything the Lord did in lives of our second year students. Many had opportunities to share in churches about what they are involved with. It is so awesome to hear how people and churches are getting behind our students and the ministry they are pursuing. Please be praying for our students as they adjust to life here in Durham. Some of them had just arrived when the tornado hit, which was a bit of a shock. For some they will be experiencing a bit of culture shock as they have come from all over the U.S and parts of Canada. There of course is also homesickness to deal with, not only leaving parents, but one couple left their 20 year old son to step out into missions.
