Yesterday while Caleb was at work, fire broke out in the room he was working. This fire was not able to be contained and spread to the rest of the plant. As you can see in the pictures pretty well the whole plant is in ruins. Praise the Lord with us that there were no injuries and everyone got out of the plant alive. As you will recall a tornado came through here a couple of weeks ago. There was damage to the factory roof and so a worker was doing some repairs and was welding and that was the cause of the fire. Caleb had to find another way home as his car keys and wallet were in the burning plant. When you are in one of the ice cream rooms there are all sorts of guidelines that have to be followed. You wear white full body jump suits and you are not allowed to have anything in your pockets. I don't think any of the workers will be getting any of their valuables out of the lockers. Caleb has not received an official word from Chapman's but from all the media reports it seems like the company does want to rebuild. One source also thought that all the employees would be getting three months pay. We pray this will be the case.
