Making Memories

Many years ago when we were expecting Caleb one of my sisters gave me our famous "You are Special Today" plate. This red plate has been there through all of the important events in our family. It was one of the best gifts I have ever received. Therefore whenever we get a wedding invitation in the mail I try to get things in motion to order a red plate for the special occasion. This summer I sent three different plates away to couples starting their life together. Just a couple of day ago I made a special delivery to a friend in town who is getting married. She had never seen anything like this plate and was thrilled to death. It was so fun passing on this special plate that will hopefully add many special memories to their family. I don't know where you are in your family life, whether your children are still at home or you are in the grandparent stage in life,but it is never too late to start a family tradition that adds many memories to your family. Whether you have a red plate or not I hope you let people know that they are special. People are worth investing in.
